Set your own schedule! No classes to attend, no manuals to read! In a matter of hours, learning about computers has never been easier! Course lessons are taught from a computer and play like a video. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or advanced user. Our Self-Taught Computer Courses can take you to the next level of knowledge and increase your skills so that you can operate a computer with confidence. There is no cost for these self-taught computer courses. There are over 200 topics but some of our most popular courses include Windows, Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, Front Page, Publisher HTML, Quick Books, and Mavis Beacon Typing.

Prerequisite: Basic computer and Typing Skills

Needing a professional looking resume' but don't know where to start? Attend this 2 hour class and discover how to put together a winning resume'. Using a resume' software program you'll be able to fill-in the blanks and watch your resume' come to life in front of your very eyes. Customize your resume' further by adding specific information about your experience and skills. Staff will be available to help guide you through the steps and answer your questions. Prerequisite: Basic Computer and Typing Skills

You can post your resume', find thousands of job openings, and access other helpful information by utilizing Ohio Means Jobs (OMJ) web site. This 2 hour class will help you navigate through the different screens and provide helpful tips. Please call the office to register for htis class

Adult Basic Literacy Education (ABLE) program provides individualized and small group instruction in BASIC SKILLS areas including: Reading, Math, Writing, Computers, GED Preparation, English as a Second Language, U.S. Citizenship

Programs are available to anyone 18 years of age and older. Before beginning
instruction in any of these free programs, you must participate in two days of basic orientation (as mandated by the state of Ohio).
